Dr. Arundhati Anshu graduated from SCB Medical College, Utkal University, India in 1997 and was awarded Honours and Gold Medal in General Surgery, Pharmacology and Pathology. She did her Masters in Surgery (Ophthalmology) from Utkal University and became a Member of Royal College of Edinburgh in 2002. She was awarded the Master of Medicine by NUS in 2003. Dr Anshu became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2008. Thereafter she went on to do sub-specialized fellowship training in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery from Singapore National Eye Centre and Price Vision Group, Indianapolis, Indiana, USA.
Dr Anshu is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and Asian Corneal Society.
In addition to management of cataract and anterior segment disorders, Dr Anshu’s clinical interests are in the areas of corneal infections, corneal transplantation and LASIK refractive surgery.
Her research interests include corneal and anterior segment disorders as well as corneal transplantation techniques. She has authored several manuscripts in international peer reviewed journals.
